What is spam?

According to the Longman Dictionary of English, spam means "messages one does not want or does not want to read". That definition is rather broad and everyone has different opinions on what spam really is and what not.
In this forum, the following is definitely considered spam:
Double posting, triple posting, ... When you post the same message more than one time, in the same topic and withing a short time span. ³
Posts by bots
Advertising. (Unless posted in the correct topics)
Posting more than 1 message in the same topic, within 24 hours and without anyone else posting in between your own posts.
³ This also applies to topics, please don't post the same topic more than once.

How to avoid spam?

If you don't do any of the above, you're already doing great!
But in case it happens that you double posted something, then you have several options:
Use the report button to mention the extra post(s) can be deleted
Use the delete button to delete your own extra topic or post
Post in the Trash Box that the extra topic or post can be deleted ( https://winx-tastic.board-directory.net/t25-trash-box#26 )

I've noticed someone spamming, what do I do?

Use the report button to mention the extra post(s) can be deleted
Report the spam in the Spam Report topic ( https://winx-tastic.board-directory.net/t24-spammers-what-can-you-do )
